Dryden GM, part of the Beyak Automotive Group, donated $230,000 for construction of a community Splash Park. The entire project is estimated at approximately $247,000, with the municipality contributing the remaining portion of the project cost.

“On behalf of Dryden City Council, staff and the citizens of Dryden, I wish to sincerely thank the Beyak Automotive Group and President Nick Beyak for their vision and generous donation to make the Splash Park a reality for the residents of Dryden,” said Mayor Greg Wilson.

Construction crews began groundwork on July 11 with ground stripping, safety fencing and subtrade visits. Also, city work crews have started installing sewer/wastewater, and will continue with granular preparation and forming.

“It’s exciting to see us breaking ground after months of planning,” said GM owner Nick Beyak. “I know anticipation will be building among parents and children of the community as construction moves forward and nears completion. We will be updating our progress to the public through social media posts and look forward to the grand opening in mid-August.”

Foundation work will continue into early August, with completion expected mid-August.
