Government contributes to Sudbury’s Finlandia Village wellness centre

The provincial government has announced a $495,000 investment for a new multi-purpose wellness centre for seniors at Finlandia Village in sudbury.

The government says the 8,532 sq. ft. wellness centre includes a medical office for the home’s in-house physician, educational programming space and a multi-purpose hall for larger gatherings.

Finalndia Village offers a mix of housing for 285 seniors including apartments, congregate living, assisted living and long0term care and recently completed the construction of 82 affordable apartments.
